KANSAS WHITETAIL HUNTS
We are booking our Kansas whitetail deer hunts for 2010. Take home a fine Kansas trophy buck. Leftover permits go on sale June 15 at 12:01 a.m., online at the KDWP website (www.kdwp.state.ks.us). Those who don’t have access to a computer may call the Licensing Section at 620-672-0728, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

SPRING KANSAS TURKEY HUNTS
We are booking our Kansas Spring turkey hunts for 2011. Hurry before all our dates are full.

Kansas Turkey Hunts

Our Kansas turkey hunts are fully guided 3-day hunts. The birds we will be hunting are Rio Grande and Eastern species. Choose your style of hunting, archery or shotgun. We have a large number of trophy gobblers. We will provide decoys and calling, or you can call your own birds if you prefer.

Blue River Whitetails will provide:

What is not provided?

• Personal items such as clothing, toiletries, etc.
• Shotgun or bow, ammunition, hunting equipment, etc.
• Nonresident Turkey Permits and Licenses

Archery Only Season: April 1 - April 12, 2011
Regular Season (firearm/archery): April 13 - May 31, 2011
Youth/Disabled Season (16 & younger, no minimum age): April 1 - 12, 2011

Shooting Hours: One-half hour before sunrise to sunset.

Legal Equipment: Long, recurve or compound bows and shotguns and muzzleloading shotguns 20 gauge or larger using shot sizes 2 through 9. Crossbows are legal during April 13-May 31 season only.

Limit: Any individual who has purchased a spring turkey permit is eligible for one second turkey game tag. Spring game tags are valid for Units 2 and 3 ONLY.
